Mario Draghi is the president of the European Central Bank since 1 November 2011. He is an economist who also worked at Goldman Sachs from 2002 to 2015. Besides this, he obtained a Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in 1976.
