Janet Yellen (born August 13, 1946) is an American economist serving as the United States secretary of the treasury since January 26, 2021. 

He is the former Chair of the Central Bank of the United States named “Federal Reserve” or FED from 3 Feb 2014 to 2018. She is American economics and served as a Vice-Chair of FED from 2010 to 2014. She earned her Ph.D. in economics from Yale University in 1971. Being a chair of the FED, she influences the monetary policy to control price stability and economic growth in the United States.
